It’s quite an impressive headline, but I’m not exaggerating when I say that Danh’s Garden has the best Asian food in the Shreveport/Bossier area. It’s true I couldn’t have possibly eaten at all Asian restaurants, but with flavor like this they’d be pretty tough competition for anyone to beat. They have two locations and while I’ve been to the Youree drive location, I find that the Bossier location is a lot more quaint and the food tastes even fresher. To start off with a beverage I’d suggest the fresh lemonade (which is actually limeade) made with fresh lime, sugar, and water. It’s amazingly fresh on a hot summer day. For an appetizer the fresh spring rolls are a must. The peanut sauce really brings out the flavor of the natural ingredients wrapped up in a happy rice paper bundle. For the main course, it’s a tradition of my Aunt and I to split the Pad Thai and the Pho (Vietnamese style soup). It’s true that its hot outside, but the freshest of the ingredients really help explain why someone would choose soup when its 90 degrees outside. If you’ve read my review of lemon grass’s Pad Thai then, you can understand that Danh’s Pad Thai has all the flavor that lemon grass’s was lacking. If you are in the area it’s definitely something you are just going to have to try for yourself. Danh’s gets a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Sometimes flavors like thisare just too good to describe. :) As always, happy eating. <3
